Nicci graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2006 and completed her certificate in Small Animal Surgeon in 2013. She has provided a visiting surgery service in the South of England since 2015. In addition, Nicci has spent time locumming at a number of multidisciplinary referral centres over the years, and has lectured for the Webinar Vet. She is a member of the Veterinary Instrumentation Advisory Board and both lectures and runs practical courses for Veterinary Instrumentation in the UK and Europe. She enjoys all aspects of orthopaedic surgery, in particular arthroscopic management of elbow cases.
