Ana graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Lisbon – Portugal in 2012.
During her curricular internship she discovered her passion for ultrasound and has never stopped.
Ana has been working in the UK since 2015, completed the General Practitioner Certificate in Diagnostic Imaging in 2018 and the Post-graduation in Diagnostic Imaging in 2020. She has become a peripatetic ultrasonographer since 2020 after leading the imaging department in busy first opinion hospitals in the UK. Ana enjoys all aspects of ultrasound with a particular emphasis on abdominal ultrasonography.

In 2024 Ana became a double certificate holder having passed her cardiology certificate and loves providing case advice alongside an echocardiography service
